The Custom Workroom Conference

A Fantastic Event For The Drapery and Soft Furnishings Manufacturing Industry.

The custom soft furnishings and window treatments workroom industry is full of friendly, generous and fun people. When they get together it’s pretty magical…

Concave

The most common bowed window type, a Concave Rod bends with the window, away from the room. In general, they are used with bays of 5+ windows and come in a smooth, continuous piece. They could be used in smaller settings but keep in mind that the tighter the angle, the tighter the curve or larger the gap between the rod and corner. If you want a bent and/or segmented window, see the following Bay Window section.

Our national sales director Anita Boetsma and Dan Osborne, our rep for NC, SC, and GA were working hard at the Helser Brothers booth educating people about our new products while my wife Alicia and I were having a blast officiating the first ever Helser Brothers Stitch Rally.  I know that it does not seem very fair for us to take the fun job but trust me when I tell you that Anita is perfectly happy just to be in the company of her industry buddies.

The Stitch Rally was a hit; we had about 100 contestants tearing around the track with fans enthusiastically cheering them on all day long.

Every participant received a highly fashionable Stitch Rally t-shirt as a memento.

The competition had kind of a fierce/friendly hybrid-vibe which was to be expected considering the high stakes. The top three finishers each scored trophies with 300, 200, and 100 dollar Amazon gift-cards and finishers 4-13 will receive a $100 Helser Brothers credit.

Hearty congratulations to our three top finishers

Nicole Nomer – first place

Olivia Oliver – second place

Laura Nelson – third place

The Stitch Rally was a ton of fun for everyone, but I think we had the most fun of all!  We do plan to make this an annual event so keep an eye on the Helser Brothers social media sites and your email inbox for details.  SEE YA SOON!
