Since our re-launch of Compositions this year, we have been delighted with the response to our unique and colorful finial arrangements. We always want to showcase the talented people we work with, so we want to introduce you to Debra May Himes. Debra May collaborated with us to design the Jewels™ elements of our Compositions line. Her concept of interchangeable components, rich colors and carved elements won the Compositions line and Jewels™ an ASID Design Excellence Award as well as an ADEX Platinum Award.
Debra May Himes, ASID, IIDA, LEED AP, has been leading the design community as an award-winning interior designer for over 30 years in the Phoenix Metropolitan area. Working throughout the United States, Debra’s portfolio encompasses both residential and commercial projects.
Debra May Himes is a native of Arizona and loves the strong and rugged Arizona desert, which is reflected in many of her designs. As a full service designer, Debra is well known for her ability to create interiors that are elegant, livable and emotionally compelling. She strives to meet client needs with timeless designs and quality products. This desire for fresh and exceptional furniture inspired her to create her Jonathan David™ collection of award winning furniture pieces. Debra has been published both nationally and locally highlighting her residential and commercial designs, as well as her furniture pieces.
