Outdoor rooms tend to be expansive and our Catalina outdoor hardware has the rods made for distance. Our beefy 2″ rod will handle up to 160″ with a light weight treatment. That includes sunbrella panels! If you are doing heavier panels, the 2″ rod will allow for 140″ between brackets. Our equally impressive 1-3/4″ rod will span 120″ with a light treatment and 108″ for a heavier treatment. Wow, right?
Cool finishes

Sturdy Brackets
As with all of our lines, Catalina outdoor hardware boasts the strongest brackets in the business. HB always uses thick metal and sturdy set screws in our brackets. Once your treatment is in place, it’s not going anywhere.French Poles
Always popular French Poles are also available for outdoor use. We find the french poles with the mitered 90 degree corners are great for ceiling mount applications. The mitered corner option makes a great end point when a wall mount is not possible. Our custom capabilities are great for tricky outdoor spaces.
Terrific Ring Hack
Our friend Dian Garbarini of Designs by Dian and Drapery Pro shared a wonderful idea for securing outdoor panels using our double rings. The double rings work on both the 2″ and 1-3/4″ rods. We wrote the whole story in an earlier blog post. By creating a tab using velcro, she created an outdoor panel that can be easily removed for the season, for cleaning, or for repair without the need to remove the hardware. Dian also suggested outdoor snaps as a really good option on the tabs.
