Metro traverse is available in standard or ripplefold versions. This new functionality will allow you to specify traversing panels for wider windows
Classy finials and sleek size!
Our new Metro traversing rod is a perfect 1-1/8″ diameter. It is small enough to fit today’s aesthetic and sturdy enough to go the distance with a fully lined drapery. It has a respectable 4# per foot capacity. All of the gorgeous finials in our Metro line look fantastic on the 1-1/8″ rod. We especially love our faceted finials, with all the fire and ice real crystal creates.
Shiny bright finishes
We offer Metro traverse hardware in our Brushed Nickel, Chrome, Gloss Black, and new for 2018, Gloss White finishes. These super shiny finishes are easy to coordinate with fabrics and existing decor. Only the Soft Brass Metro finish is unavailable in the traverse option.
Versatile brackets
The brackets for Metro traverse are designed for strength and are adjustable between a 3-1/2″ and 4-1/2″ drapery return. We have both vertical and horizontal options which can be combined as needed to give you the ability to fit brackets into small spaces.
Matching elbows
Adjustable elbows are available in matching finishes to connect traverse rods for a bay window or corner application. While they create a smooth transition point, the elbows will not allow the fabric to traverse around the corner or angle. Remember, you can always send us your wall measurements and we will do all of the math needed to figure final rod lengths!
One last point, when measuring for a treatment for a bay window, we still need the degree of the angle to figure accurate rod lengths. It seems like it shouldn’t matter when using an adjustable elbow, but it does.

Finally, our Metro traverse rod is available in lengths up to 228″ for a one-way draw and 456″ for a center split treatment. We will be happy to supply a truck shipping quote when you place your order.
