It had been a few weeks since the 2026 Custom Workroom Conference. Here is a look back at the prom night, the day of the show, and why community is important for Helser Brothers.
We turned the CWC social event into a full-on prom night this year, and everyone showed up in the best way.
Here are some of our favorite moments from the night:
And of course, the crowning of our Prom King and Queen: Robin Matthews and Steve Wright.
Thank you to everyone who participated. You made the night so fun and special!
Helser Brothers Mini Rods Live at the Show!
This year at CWC, we wanted to do something totally different. Back at our shop in Chandler, Arizona, everything we do is custom, and we wanted to highlight that by making mini versions of our hardware, right there on the show floor.
Our CEO, Thomas Berry, took the lead, cutting, bending, powder coating, and baking the mini hardware. He did it all with smaller versions of the big machinery we have back at home. It was so fun showing everyone what our process looks like, even in mini form.
We loved meeting the new attendees, reconnecting with our customers, and having real conversations. One of the most valuable things from the show was hearing from our customers with their feedback and honest conversations.
This year has certainly been tough for us. But we are building back so we can maintain the care and quality of custom drapery hardware Helser Brothers is known for, and continue supporting our customers.
Thank you for trusting Helser Brothers; we are motivated to become even stronger. 💙
The Work Behind the Work
There is so much that goes into CWC. Everything from the setup of the booth to the prom party, our team plans, builds, and executes every detail. To see it all come to fruition is always rewarding.
We know so many other businesses feel the same way when exhibiting at CWC. The shared effort and the pride in custom work, it is what makes this event so special.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, danced with us at prom night, and made it another great CWC!
Next year’s CWC will be in Spotsylvania, Virginia, at the new Kalahari Resort, September 27–29.
It is near Richmond, and we plan to be there. Mark your calendars; we cannot wait to do this all over again!
